So, after my disastrous book release of A War Amongst The Stars, I plan to eventually have a B&N release but make it bigger and better than my Amazon release. With that, I’m going to need some help hyping it up. I’d love to choose those who have already read and loved the book. Those who have already hyped it up is also a plus. Haven’t decided how many I’ll give out but I’m thinking maybe 10-25. I’ll also be opening back up my Street Team. Street Team won’t get the PR Box but they will get something special. Basically, if you’re already a fan of the book, I’d love to have you. Over the next month or so, I’ll be going through my tagged posts on IG and Booktok to find and ask if you’d be interested in being one of my book PR influencers. In case you didn’t notice… I’ve been m.i.a. since my disastrous book release of A War Amongst The Stars.

I had been working two years straight on not just writing the story, but learning photoshop so that I could design the cover, the interior design. I created promo pics and videos. I marketed for a whole year across multiple platforms, all while trying to keep up a social media presence, emails, newsletter, blog, messages, manage multiple groups, send out ARC’s… yeah you get it. I’ve been busy and then to have all that work just trashed when Amazon decided to cancel all my pre-orders which I have yet to gain back… well I fucking lost it. My exhausted mind blanked out and I walked away.

Tbh, I think I’m still exhausted and have yet to recover mentally but I’m trying. I started reading again and picked up painting and that seems to be helping me a little.

Basically, I’ve just been taking each day one at a time until I’m back to a good place mentally.

I had to stop responding to all dm’s and emails. If you tried contacting me, I’m sorry I haven’t responded back yet. You can blame it on my anxiety. I will get back to you eventually though.

I had so many amazing things planned for my book release… I hate that I didn’t get to share it all with you. On the bright side, I do want to try it again with the Barnes and Noble book release of the PB and special HB edition. There’s no release date yet but when the time comes, I’m going to treat it like an official release and make it HUGE!

I get a second chance and I just hope you’ll be there to help me make it the biggest and best release ever.

With that, I have still been working on special things behind the scenes which I will be announcing soonish, so do check back! 😆

I do not even no where to begin…

The worst has happened y’all.

After making some changes to my manuscript and re-uploading it on Sunday night, I woke up Monday morning to find out that Amazon had cancelled my book and all my pre-orders.

My book is blocked and they will not budge nor re-instate it or my pre-orders.

It took me a year to gather just over 1,000 pre-orders. 1,005 last time I checked and now they are just gone. I’ll never see them again.

I have been in literal tears, barely eating nor sleeping, trying everything in my power to get them to help me re-instate it all but they just won’t.

Instead, I’m just supposed to take the loss and re-do the entire setup and start from scratch.

Before, I had the ebook enrolled exclusively in Kindle Unlimited but after being forced to re-submit my book as a new ebook, I have decided to not select that option. By not selecting to enroll in KU, I will not be bound to Amazon for 90 days and instead will be allowed to publish the ebook wide to Barnes and Noble, Apple Books, Google Play, and Kobo (but those will come later.)

As for the paper and hardback, I am still working on getting those re-uploaded to Amazon under a “new book,” but they’re processing time takes up to 72 hours and I just submitted it last night. So, they may arrive a day or so after the 28th, that is IF they are even approved. FML.

It’s a mess right now and I know all this must be very frustrating but I can only do so much in a matter of a couple days. I ask of you all to please be patient with me while I figure this all out as everything has changed and I’m just trying to adjust as quickly as I can.

Right now, Amazon has approved and published the ebook as a “new book,” so it is now available to purchase. To make it fair, I kept the pre-order price of $4.99 and it will stay that price for two weeks ending on 10/13 where it will return to the normal sale price of $9.99.

I beg of you all, please order the ebook right away! Like right now. Please do not wait to order the ebook. With how many pre-orders I had before, I would have instantly became an Amazon Best Seller on release day.

I know I will not reach 1,005 orders in one day and maybe not even in one week, but with your help by spreading the word to all your friends, family, co-workers, and across social media, I might get close.

There’s a deep, thought provoking message to uncover from this story. One that I hope all who read, understands. Redemption, forgiveness, these are the pivotal keys to every character’s arc and journey through this tragic series. As every character is beautifully flawed in their own individual way, you will find that no one is perfect, and that’s just how they are meant to be, imperfect, raw.

As human beings, we ourselves are the most imperfect creatures who make more mistakes than we can count. We raise our voices, ridicule, cheat, judge, say the wrong thing, take no action…the list goes. We by all means, are not perfect. No, we are far from it and in the eyes of other’s, we may even be the villains ourselves.

“We are all villains in someone else’s eyes. So, before you cast judgement on me, I dare you to look into a mirror and ask yourself, who have you wronged?”

Do not despair, for we as society are not hopeless, nor are we doomed to be the villains forever. No, just like the characters you will meet, we too can change. We too can rise above our imperfections, choose to learn from our actions and educate ourselves so that we may never do wrong once more.

In today’s society, it has darkened into a witch hunt. Casting the first stone and eradicating anyone who dare make one mistake. Society does not want to see you redeemed. It wants to see you burn.

That is the message of this story. How the villains fight against the tyranny that demands to hold them back from becoming good.

So, I challenge you to go into this story with an open-minded perspective, and a sympathetic heart. For these flawed, villainous characters are more realistic than you may think, for they are you, and you are they, and so help them, they will do what they believe is right, whether that be good or bad in your eyes…they do not care, because their fight, will always be against, you. The ones who wish to see them fall, to see them suffer. To watch them burn.
