This trip is going to be unbelievable and I am so thrilled to have chosen Norway as the destination that so closely resembles those breathtaking wintry scenes in A War Amongst The Stars.
Yeah, you heard right. This isn’t going to be just another trip. No. The team behind organizing this experience La Belle Route has curated a truly unique, immersive, and fan-centered A War Amongst The Stars itinerary where everything we do is going to relate to the story somehow bringing you closer to feeling like you are right there, living those magical moments with the characters as they did in the book. And the best part? After we arrive and get settled in, I am going to be right there with you all throughout the entire trip. Yes, me, your host and the author will get to experience everything you do. So, basically we’re going to be hanging out all week and become the best of friends.
But I’m sure dying to know what we’ll be up to on this trip, so let’s dive in.
We will arrive in Tromso, Norway on Monday, March 8, 2027 and leave March 14. So, 6 days in Norway with a full and thrilling daily itinerary that includes so much. We’re talking a tour of the beautiful Tromso on day one followed by welcome dinner and social mixer where I will give a toast to kick off our magical week beneath the arctic skies.
Day 2: We’re going to visit Tromso’s premier art gallery and cultural book space as well as partake in an experimental book binding session where we get to create our own journal from locally sourced materials. After, we’re heading to a silver ring making workshop and are literally creating our own one of a kind silver ring from scratch that we get to keep forever.
But wait. The night only gets even more exciting. There will an author led session with me back at the hotel and after, we get to celebrate my birthday on a majestic fjord dinner cruise, sailing among the Norwegian waters and witnessing the magical northern lights dance behind the snow-capped mountains.
Day 3: To simulate flying through the arctic air as Serena and Nolance did, we’re going to spend 70-80 exhilarating minutes of standing on the back of a sled, driving your own team of Arctic huskies through the breathtaking wintry wilderness.
After, lunch in the city followed by visiting a floating sauna right off the harbor where we will get to plunge right into to the arctic sea and feel just how cold the water was that Serena had dipped her hand into.
Day 4: We’re heading to a Sami reindeer camp where not only do we get to experience a full sled ride but also get the incredible opportunity to feed these majestic animals as well as enjoy a traditional lunch inside a lavvu tent.
The day will be full of live Joik performances and rich storytelling from the indigenous Sami people. And as the night goes on, so does the fun. There will be drumming, a fire, more food, storytelling and the chance to witness the northern lights beneath the starry skies.
Day 5: We’re starting off with another author led session then moving on to explore Tromso further, visiting the harbor front, historic streets, local museums, shops, bookstores and cafes.
And then, we get to go on an arctic food walk through the historic Tromso, moving between local eateries, experiencing a multi-course dinner of Norwegian delicacies.
Day 6: Starting the morning off again with an author led session and then we’re flying high. We’re taking a cable car, ascending the mountain where at the peak, we’ll have a 360 degree view of the beautiful Tromso, the surrounding fjords and the snow-peaked mountains of the Alps. There will also be a cafe on top of the mountain which would be perfect, because I’m sure I’ll be cold and want to enjoy a nice hot cup of cocoa.
The day goes on. We’ll have free time to shop for souvenirs, have lunch in the city, head back to the hotel for a book signing with muah. And then for the night, we’re chasing the northern lights, driving and staying out until our guides find us the most vivid and stunning show we’ve seen yet.
Day 7: One more breakfast at the hotel with me and then back to reality where we’ll fly home and remember this experience forever.

Hiiii, my darlings.
Okay, I know it’s been a while. I think I last posted an update back in Jan. Just blame it on getting invited to BookCon at very last min 😂 Like seriously, I got the invite to attend as a signing author at the end of Jan and the event was in APRIL. So, basically, I spent all that time before prepping for that massive event. And by massive, I mean 25,000 people! Long story short. BookCon was EPIC! I got to sight see around NYC, sold out of books on DAY ONE, met so many amazing people and made some insane connections that I can’t quite talk about just yet… but you bet I will scream about it come time.
So, what have I been up to post BookCon? Well, WRITING. After I got back, I have been so inspired to write and work on special things. I seriously haven’t stopped and I hope I never do.
WHAT AM I WRITING???
Well, book two of A War Amongst The Stars which is called A Wish Amongst The Souls. As most of you already know, I had to take a mega break from AWATS after having severe burnout and have still been struggling to get back into this world. I’ve started and stopped writing so many times, I’ve lost track, but I’ve started up again and I am feeling GOOD. The characters are speaking to me again, the universe is as vivid as ever, the romance is HOT AF and the magic is flowing better than ever. It’s finally coming along but damn stars almighty this epic series is a LOT. So, much so, I’ve had to deter and work on easier non-as-extensive sci fi fantasy works over the years just to give my over-worked brain some rest 😅 which leads me to those other works…
I might have written two more secret book series in my absence… 👀 A paranormal dark academia gothic romance and a fantasy romance series, but don’t get too excited just yet. These babies I am saving to query in hopes that maybe, just maybe, they might get picked up by a cool agent and fingers crossed, an awesome trad publisher 🤞🏼🤩
But in the meantime, I still have my paranormal vampire dark romance book I’m working on called Not Even A Monster that I’ve had to push down the list to finish writing in order to make room for another novel I am currently prepping for publication. THIS YEAR! Yep, you heard that right. I will be publishing a book this year! Closer to the end of the year to be clear. And yes, I have a date picked out but no, I am not disclosing that date just yet. Not until EVERYTHING is solid and ready to go. But trust, I will be dropping more teasers across social media, so keep a lookout there and here! Of course, my dearest Substack subscribers will get all the updates, reveals and opportunities here FIRST. You lucky duckies.

I haven’t really nailed down a whole timeline of announcements yet as I was seriously debating on doing a random surprise release and announce it the day it was published but I’ve changed my mind since, so now I’m going forward with a normal release but I’m trying to make it the least stressful ever. Like, I do not plan to go all out. So expect the release of ACWN to be chill af. My goal… to just publish and move on quickly to my next release!

If you’ve been paying attention to all my subtle hints and teasers that I’ve been dropping on Threads and IG since I got back from BookCon in April, then you’ve probably been wondering, “what the hell is going on and what do all these teasers mean!?” Well, I just got off the phone with my people yesterday and I asked them, “when do we think we’d be ready to share everything?” You guys… we’re finalizing everything now and will (fingers crossed) be making an announcement within the next three weeks! 🤩 I plan to start dropping even bigger teasers across all my socials leading up to reveal day so PLEASE go follow me everywhere and turn on notifications so you do not miss a single post. Trust me, you are not going to want to miss what’s happening because it is going to be EPIC!!! But all I will say is, I hope you enjoy the snow because it’s going to be cold where we’re heading, baby! ❄️🌌

I wish I had some big update to share but unfortunately I don’t have anything yet but trust that I’m working my damn hardest to get there. Ik I’m horrible at staying present and posting about my writing journey and that is something I’m working on being better about. I will say January has already started off with a bang. I began posting weekly progress wrap ups, special bts stuff and wip teasers on my Substack (which you should subscribe to) I’ve also started posting again across social media and creating pretty aesthetic content on my new TikTok account (tristinclark_) but besides those things, overall, I’m just doing wayyyy better mentally, physically and spiritually. I’ll be honest… my mental health journey has been quite rough since 2023. I won’t get too into it but all I’ll say is that I was not okay. I could barely function let alone write or post content. I was burnt out… bad. But after 3 yrs, I’m more than fine now and back to my old smiley, bubbly, dorky, happy self. I even started working out too! I lost myself somewhere over the years but now that I’ve found me again, I’m never letting me go. What’s crazy is it’s only Jan 15th and I think I’ve already wrote more this year than half of last year 😅 If that doesn’t show progress then idk what to tell ya.
I set a goal for myself this year to kick ass and get shit done and I’m just proud of myself for already coming so far.
I’ve got a lot of work and writing ahead of me but I know I’ll get there. I won’t stop otherwise. So, stay with me and follow along. I’ve got so many new stories coming and I seriously cannot wait for you all to read them all ☺️

Fun fact about A War Amongst The Stars I bet a lot of you didn’t pick up on while reading. So, we know The Darkness and The Light are the creators of the universe who gave light and life to everything we know. We also know a ton of origin stories originated from them (magic, wishes, soulmates, heart mates, gods…well, there’s two tiny scenes in awats where Nolance consumes a drop of Serena’s light and blood and she’s just like “weird he’s done that twice now.” And way back when magic still existed on planet, mates would bind their fate with a ceremony that included drinking from one another. You see where I’m going with this? Yep. Safe to say we can add a vampire origin story to the list too. 🧛🏻♂️🩸
There’s a very…um special scene in book two that happens in ch one, A Wish Amongst The Souls that I CANNOT wait for you to read. I can’t give away anymore info about it but when you read it…you’ll def be like WTFFFFF!?
And don’t worry, more will be explained on the origins of vampirism but it’ll def be something different from what we’re already accustomed to knowing. All origin stories gotta start from someone and daddy Nolance sure has started a lot 😅
