Hiiiiii ☺️ Its me, Tristin. (Long rambling post up ahead!)

I wish I had some big update to share but unfortunately I don’t have anything yet but trust that I’m working my damn hardest to get there. Ik I’m horrible at staying present and posting about my writing journey and that is something I’m working on being better about. I will say January has already started off with a bang. I began posting weekly progress wrap ups, special bts stuff and wip teasers on my Substack (which you should subscribe to) I’ve also started posting again across social media and creating pretty aesthetic content on my new TikTok account (tristinclark_) but besides those things, overall, I’m just doing wayyyy better mentally, physically and spiritually. I’ll be honest… my mental health journey has been quite rough since 2023. I won’t get too into it but all I’ll say is that I was not okay. I could barely function let alone write or post content. I was burnt out… bad. But after 3 yrs, I’m more than fine now and back to my old smiley, bubbly, dorky, happy self. I even started working out too! I lost myself somewhere over the years but now that I’ve found me again, I’m never letting me go. What’s crazy is it’s only Jan 15th and I think I’ve already wrote more this year than half of last year 😅 If that doesn’t show progress then idk what to tell ya.

I set a goal for myself this year to kick ass and get shit done and I’m just proud of myself for already coming so far.

I’ve got a lot of work and writing ahead of me but I know I’ll get there. I won’t stop otherwise. So, stay with me and follow along. I’ve got so many new stories coming and I seriously cannot wait for you all to read them all ☺️

I know this author signature/initials,/stamp thing is a hot topic right now but I’m glad it is because it’s given me the courage to do what’s best for me.

MOVING FORWARD, I WILL BE SWITCHING FROM SIGNING MY FULL SIGNATURE TO MY INITIALS.

FOR SPECIAL EDITIONS, BOOK BOXES, BOOK PLATES… ETC, THERE WILL BE A FULL DIGITAL SIGNATURE.

I’ve got mad arthritis in my right index finger knuckle and it’s only getting worse, especially when any pressure is applied which then triggers a flare up that has me in tears due to the pain. Of course, my health comes first and I must do what I have to, to care for myself.

A War Amongst The Stars Fun Fact Plus More!

Fun fact about A War Amongst The Stars I bet a lot of you didn’t pick up on while reading. So, we know The Darkness and The Light are the creators of the universe who gave light and life to everything we know. We also know a ton of origin stories originated from them (magic, wishes, soulmates, heart mates, gods…well, there’s two tiny scenes in awats where Nolance consumes a drop of Serena’s light and blood and she’s just like “weird he’s done that twice now.” And way back when magic still existed on planet, mates would bind their fate with a ceremony that included drinking from one another. You see where I’m going with this? Yep. Safe to say we can add a vampire origin story to the list too. 🧛🏻‍♂️🩸

There’s a very…um special scene in book two that happens in ch one, A Wish Amongst The Souls that I CANNOT wait for you to read. I can’t give away anymore info about it but when you read it…you’ll def be like WTFFFFF!?

And don’t worry, more will be explained on the origins of vampirism but it’ll def be something different from what we’re already accustomed to knowing. All origin stories gotta start from someone and daddy Nolance sure has started a lot 😅

And as always, this series is setting up a whole universe of stories to come that I have been tirelessly working to bring to publication. Y’all just wait. We’re going to be seeing more than just celestial gods. We’re getting EVERYTHING! 🤩
